THE RAY PAINTINGS

The Rays are twelve emanations from the cosmos that imbue our energy field with specific characteristics. Painting them in the form of flowers is my way of enticing you to further explore these energies while enjoying the graceful flow of nature.

The Calla lilies hold a personal magic for me. Where I lived, as a child, there bloomed a single Calla lily every spring. I always found it to be an unusual and magical flower with its waxy cone shape and large size. I did not know, until I was older, that Calla Lilies bloomed in bushes and in bunches. The paintings below were painted in a two week period. I was compelled to paint them and rarely left my studio until they were finished. Please enjoy being with them as much as i enjoyed creating them.
